Subscription cloud integration

Follow the steps to integrate the Azure Subscription cloud with CleanCloud:

1. Access the Azure control panel and navigate to the Properties page in the Azure Active Directory. Copy the Tenant ID.

2. On the CleanCloud page, paste the value copied in step 1 into the Tenant ID field.

3. Back to the Azure console, access the App registrations page and select New registration.

 

4. Type a name for this new registration “CleanCloudApp”, keep the selection in Accounts in this organizational directory only. In the option Redirect URI select Web and include “https://localhost”. Click on Register

5. After creating, copy the Application (client) ID field.

6. On the CleanCloud page, paste the value copied in the previous step into Application ID.

7. Access the Subscriptions page and select the subscription that will be integrated into CleanCloud. Copy the Subscription ID.

8. On the CleanCloud page, paste the value copied in the previous step under Subscription ID.

9. Still on the Subscriptions page, access the cloud/ subscription that is being integrated with CleanCloud. Select the Access control (IAM) option on the left hand side menu. Click on Add. 

10. In the Add role assignment screen, select Reader on the role field, and assign access to User, group, or service principal and then select the record created in step 5, “CleanCloudApp”. Click Save.

11.Click Add again to add another role and select Billing Reader on the role field, and assign access to User, group, or service principal and then select the record created in step 5, “CleanCloudApp”. Click Save.

12. Access the App registrations page and select the application created “CleanCloudApp”.

13. Select Certificates & secrets from the side menu.

14.On the Certificates & secrets page and click on New client secret

15. In the Add a client secret window, add a description for the “CleanCloudKey” key and select the 24 months option under Expires. Click Add.

16. After creating, copy the Value field.

17. On the CleanCloud page, paste the value copied in the previous step into Secret Key. With all fields complete, click Next.

 

The integration of the Azure Subscription cloud was successfully completed 🙂
